Whitefish Mountain Ski Area

Whitefish Mountain Resort is located in the Rocky Mountains of northwest Montana, 35 miles west of Glacier National Park, 7 miles north of Whitefish, and 18 miles north of Glacier International Airport in Kalispell. With over 3,000 skiable acres, Whitefish Mountain Resort is one of the largest ski resorts in the US and Canada, priced at a significant value to destination and local skiers alike. We offer state-of-the-art grooming, snowmaking, and lifts as well as some of the friendliest staff you will ever meet. We are proud of the positive impact we have on the surrounding community. Whitefish Mountain Resort Village is a full service alpine village. Winter activities include but are not limited to skiing and snowboarding, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and guided snowmobile rentals.  As a summer resort, Whitefish Mountain Resort has the Summit Trail, which is accessible via the chair lift. Other activities include hiking, mountain bike rentals, shopping and 'Walk in the Treetops'.  Winter and summer, Whitefish Mountain Resort Village has lodging accommodations for every budget. Activities to keep the whole family entertained are available on the mountain as well as in the nearby town of Whitefish.

Blacktail Mountain Ski Area
Blacktail Mountain Ski Area is affordable and family friendly. Located high above Flathead Lake in northwest Montana. All slopes are north facing and present consistent snow through mid-April. Enjoy 360 degree views of the Flathead Valley and Glacier National Park from Blacktail Mountain.  Blacktail Mountain Ski Area includes a beautifully built lodge offering all amenities including fine dining in Muley's on the third floor of the lodge, as well as very affordable cafeteria style meals on the main level. Overnight lodging and dining is conveniently located in Lakeside, Somers and surrounding towns.

Tope elevation: 6,676 feet
Vertical Drop: 1,440 feet
Average Annual Snowfall: 250 inches
Trails: 26, 15% beginner, 70% intermediate, 15% expert. All natural snow on north-facing slopes. There are 3 chairs: 2 doubles, 1 triple and a handle tow.
